stone,
Buraimoh Gbadamosi is an important representative of the New Sacred Art movement, which established itself in Nigeria in the 1960s in the environment of the artist and Yoruba priest Susanne Wenger and sought to revive the sacred grove of Oshogbo.
Gbadamosis stone and wood sculptures characterize this sacred grove in southwest Nigeria, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2005.
