This comb is carved from a single piece of ivory and has long, fine rows of teeth at the top and bottom.
The central plate is carved on both sides. It depicts a goddess (Lakshmi) surrounded by tendrils on one side and a seated female in traditional clothing on reverse.
This object is subject to CITES. Please note that it can only be sent within the European Community. At the present time export in third countries is prohibited.
