Napa' dance club

These ceremonial clubs were carried by adult men during the 'napa' dance. This dance was widespread, but may have originated in Utupa, where it was used at initiation ceremonies for young men. During the complicated steps of the 'napa', the male dancers struck tghier clubs together ritually.
