Kleine Figuren, die als Behälter oder Träger für magische Ladungen fungieren, werden "biteki" genannt.
Einmal damit ausgestattet, werden die Figuren zu einem bestimmten Typus von "nkisi", der durch unsichtbare Kräfte entweder "krank macht" - "kukwata" oder aber "gesund" - "kubuka".
